Walking on the spot

A couple of days a week I can't leave the house
I really want to hit my 10000 steps a day. Today is one of those days I can't leave the house and I've been walking on the spot and back and forth in my living room whilst watching tv.
I know it's not ideal but surely this is better than nothing? My *kitten* is aching I feel like I've been doing squats

I have days like that as well, and besides dancing (which I adore), I sometimes use Leslie Sansone's walk at home series on youtube. I usually mute her because I find her slightly annoying, but I get my steps in and for some reason I like to follow workout videos of any kind. Gives me a "if that chick in the back can do it - so can I" feeling lol2

I like to jog in place while watching my shows/Netflix, and it's definitely helped me lose weight while meeting my step goal. I figure any movement is better than none.2

Thank you ladies
It's got to be better than nothing, I've been dancing too, it adds up quicker xx1 -
Nothing wrong with walking in place! Another way to rack up the steps: check out the loads of Zumba videos on YouTube!1

I've lost 54 pounds whilst walking as my sole exercise. Much of it the in place variety. I say walk it off.

I love Leslie Sansone videos - her newer Just Walk DVDs do not need to be muted - they have a music only feature.
Also check out Jessica Smith TV (on YouTube) - she has walking style workouts too.1 -
I walk around my home, mostly around my dining table. I just watch TV and catch up with my favourite shows. I am happy doing this for hours.
I might check out some of these people on YouTube that have been mentioned.0
