Cals burned during strength training

Ok so I do a 45 minute Total body dumbbell strength training Mon-Wed-Fri. I rest 1 minute in between exercises and 30 seconds in between reps. Is this good? My HRM says I burn about 250 cals. Is this to be trusted?

HRMs are not reliable to track strength training calories. They are better for steady state cardio, and even then it may overestimate.0

This varies between individuals. More muscles burns more calories. Different exercises (squat = king of compound movements) burns more calories than others. If your heart rate is up and your challenging yourself your going to burn more. Change things up so your body doesn't peak. I change routines every three weeks to avoid plateau0
