Hi all! I'm honored to be here. This app has helped in the past and it's truly a blessing that we have this tool to help us with our goals.

I just recently started to diet. Eating healthy and working consistanly. It has been about a week since my journey started. I have already lost 8 lbs. however, I feel I am losing weight too quickly. I do not starve myself. I have been eating very clean and have not skipped a meal. I make sure I consume carb, protein and fat. My question to you is, is this normal to lose a lot of weight when you first start off ?

If you have a lot of water retention, this is absolutely normal. You did not lose a true 8 lbs in one week unless you ate 24,500 calories less this week. This is fluid that you were carrying around before. It will level off and, heck, you might bump up a bit.

Is water weight is the first thing you lose first ?

It's different for everyone, but I would say that overall, yes, the fluid comes off first. Especially if you were eating whatever you wanted prior to starting a healthy eating plan.

Thank you! And yes, I drastically changed my diet to completely clean from eating whatever I wanted. So this makes a lot of sense. Thanks again !

I usually start off this way, especially when eating clean, and then slow down from there. Nice work!
