So this is interesting. In my eating more experiment, I seem to still be losing inches...but my weight shot up over 3 pounds again...I'm at the very end of TOM so I'm not sure why that's still the case...praying it's still water weight...but it's saying I've lost 2 1/2 inches off my waist and an inch and a half I think off of my hips, and an inch and a half off my thighs. And yet my weight is till way high...so this is interesting. Thank GOODNESS I took measurements or I'd be sobbing in some ice cream right now. Not sure why this is the case...but I'll keep plugging!

Could be your period. Or water weight. Or the fact that you weight train. :D A pound of muscle weighs the same as pound of fat, but muscle is denser and looks more compact than fat in pictures any day. I'm rather in the same boat and I just say, "Thank goodness for photos, measuring tapes & looser fitting clothes, b/c the scale currently isn't my friend!

OH no - NO Weigh-in during TOM! That's my rule. Check it after he's long gone. I also just got over my 133 lb hurdle by eating A LOT in one day on my rest day. Then I hit it hard w/ a completely different workout this week.

    Mon-Interval Run 3 miles & Elliptical
    Tues-Spin class
    Wed-Interval Run 2 miles & Elliptical
Thurs - Rest day - Did nothing but EAT!
    Fri- Insanity
    Sat-Interval Run 2 miles & Elliptical
Sun - Rest day - Did nothing but EAT! (ok I slipped in a walk)

Hey it worked for me last week.

Sounds good to me. An inch and a half off the thighs is great!

That's awesome! Congrats! Your body is probably healing your muscles and making them stronger and denser (hence the increased weight) while still burning fat (hence the lost inches)
