I'm 29 and have about 70 lbs to lose. This is my first time trying this program and any help or tips would be greatly appreciated.

Don't think of it as a diet, think of it as a lifestyle change! Good luck!0

It helps to think of it one day at a time. Today, I can eat lots of vegetables and proteins within my calorie range. If I think about logging for the rest of my life it makes me want to give up.
Set small, measurable goals. Maybe in February you want to lose 5 pounds. Maybe next week you want to do 10,000 steps every day. Key is to focus on small chunks so you don't get dispirited.
Also, add friends on here (doesn't matter if you know them in person). It makes you more accountable, and once you establish something of a connection it's more motivation to log in every day. Feel free to add me.
Good luck!0 -
All you got to do is put it in your mind that you can do this..and list the reason why you need to lose weight. Mine was health issues and trying to get back into some of my favorite clothes.good luck0
