Logging exercise

I take a brisk walk in my neighborhood 5 days a week and I also get on the elliptical at home 3 times a week. I figure the neighborhood walk is picked up by the Fitbit but I don't think the elliptical shows the calories burned correctly so I manually log that as an exercise on MyFitnessPal. Am I double dipping calories burned??? If I don't log the elliptical, it never shows the proper amount of calories burned. Can someone clarify!

What does your fitbit say you burned for your elliptical workout?

For 35 minutes on the elliptical it says 393 calories. The Fitbit also shows calories burned for walking separately from the elliptical but those calories are not showing up on the MyFitnessPal at all.

Sometimes there is a Fitbit adjustment when both exercises are in the same day and sometimes not?

If you input the time correctly when you log the elliptical it should not double-count it.

I just take my fitbit off when I get on the elliptical then log that workout manually.
