Hello my name is Jennifer I'm 30 years old and I'm from Key West Florida. Just recently moved to Nashville Tennessee and I'm ready to get my fitness journey back on track. I am starting over again after I lost about 25 pounds a year and a half ago and then let go because I got discouraged when I stopped losing weight. Now I'm starting over. I'm heavier than I was before, I think I'm about 185. I feel great, I quit smoking cigarettes a week ago which was one of the hardest things I have ever done. I did it cold turkey. I smoked my last cigarette at night before I went to bed and when I woke up the next morning I watched some inspirational videos and started my journey. Keeping my mind wrapped around eating healthy and exercising took the place of smoking for me. If your trying to quit YOU CAN DO IT! You just have to make the decision to live 100% healthy. Im Counting macros and calories for the first few months until I get used to portion sizes enough to just eyeball it. Last time I did this thing I did it the complete wrong way. I was still smoking. I was jogging about an hour a day almost every day and in the month of September I jogged about 39 miles which is ridiculous considering I was basically sedentary before that. I jumped right into this crazy workout routine and quickly hit a PLATEAU. Also I was definitely not eating enough food. I was probably only eating about 1200 cal a day and I was exercising for an hour almost every day. I was so tired and I wasn't losing weight anymore. I wasn't eating enough and I was working my body too hard. So this time I'm taking it slow doing three workouts a week 15 minutes to 20 minutes per session of high intensity interval training to start off (and obviously increase with time) and that's going to kick my fat loss into gear. I want this to be a long term transition whereas last time I was looking for quick results. I'm totally open to meeting new people who are going through the same transition as me and would love to hear from you! Let's do this! Stay strong. Be positive. And know that you CAN and WILL reach your goals!!!
