I love cucumber water because it tastes good. It doesn't have any additional powers to help me lose weight, but it does keep me hydrated!5

It doesn't do anything for weight loss...it's tasty though. Weight loss is simply about energy balance (or lack thereof). A calorie is a unit of energy...when you take in more energy than you require, it is stored as body fat...it's stored energy...it's your backup generator. When you consume less energy than is required, that deficiency has to be made up for...so your backup generator kicks on and you burn stored energy (body fat) to make up that difference.
That's it...there are no magical potions or pills...

If it encourages you to drink more water...3

i havent tried it. dont think it will help lose weight1

Drinking more water is always good though. Nothing wrong with infused water. Personally I hate cucumber water -but there's lots of things you can add to water to make it taste yummy. The water itself won't make you lose weight but being properly hydrated is a positive!1

it dont help you lose weight but its good for cleaning toxins out your body. i just have a warm glass of lemon and honey water when i wake up in the morning before breakfast but during the day i drink just normal water. some people dont like the taste of water and tend to infuse fruits so it has some flavour to it.0

No. Toxins are removed by your liver and kidneys. If they need help, a doctor will prescribe treatments or diet.
But if it tastes well enough to keep you more hydrated that's good. I don't like cucumbers unless they've been pickled so it doesn't help me.7 -

No. There's no toxins in our bodies that water cleans out. It's good for hydration - that is all.6 -

I'm genuinely interested, as this comes up a lot, which toxins are we specifically talking about and how does drinking fruit and vegetable infused water remove them?8 -

Ugh... too many people have bought into the boogeyman of "toxins" which are this mysterious substance that cause us to gain weight. There are toxins in the body but they body takes care of it naturally. There are other substances that do stay in the body like trace amounts of pesticides but no amount of juice or vinegar or voodoo substances will magically remove that.4

I drink it after a high sodium day, helps with bloat but does nothing in regards to weight loss.

Lemon cucumber water tastes really good!0

If lemon and cucumber truly worked for weight loss, wouldn't simply eating these foods work or does water bring out some magical properties?
If these remedies actually worked considering how cheap and easy they are to obtain and make, don't you think there would be no overweight people in the world?4 -

Which toxins, pray tell does one eradicate? No one seems to be able to answer this question. Maybe you can finally shed the light on this once and for all?
Don't you think that if someone truly has toxins within, a better place to go would be a detox clinic (for addicts and alcoholics) or the emergency room?
We have detoxing organs already......3 -

It's yummy but does nothing for weight loss unless you're using it to replace something you usually drink that has calories.1

I was drinking lemon water daily even at 432lbs. so no.. it doesn't help.
It's yummy- and I crave it often, but no...doesn't make you lose weight.

This mentions some of those "toxins." Heavy metals in the lungs, stuff that's real tough to get out.
It also divulges the 2 best detoxifiers. Good read.
Edited to figure out how to write "detoxifier."0 -

Please point out the part where a knowledgeable and reputable individual says that those toxins are removed by drinking lemon water or eating clean.2 -
Oh dang. There isn't an article out there stating that because it's not a thing! Maybe we can ask Gwyneth Paltrow....0

I should've stuck it out past the first three paragraphs, huh? LOL.0 -
Oh no! It was sarcasm on my part! I was trying to point out that detoxes/ cleanses aren't real! I wanted people to read so they could find out what the big "detoxifiers" are!2
