Let's do this

Hi my name is Brandi . I am 41 years old, and just now getting acquainted with MyFitnessPal as far as the community goes.
I always thought that the metabolism going down was a myth. Now I'm starting to experience the fact that it is not. Haha. But to go with it, I get to have hypothyroidism with this- which is just a joy! But, this is all the journey, so we just have to do the best that we can and smile the whole way through it. I have about 60 more pounds I want to lose, but I want to do it in 20 pound increments. My first goal is 20 pounds - that's it. I've always had a really bad habit of looking at everything through a really "big picture" mentality. That way my goals always seem to look too big, I get real dismayed, and then give up because it almost seems unattainable. But 20 pounds? I mean come on? Anybody can do that. I just need to do it 3 times! Maybe 4.
I need all the friends, drill sergeants, comedians and "woohoo" buddies that I can get- and I also need l all the empathetic support I can get. It is so frustrating when you have a husband that can just basically put down the Kit Kat bars for two seconds and then drop 10 pounds. Whatever!
So, please add me, and you will see many cheers for me- even if it's something as minor as you just logging your food diary for the day... I will be there cheering you on the whole way.
Thanks for reading this, and best of luck to everybody... we can all do this for a great 2017! Thanks!
