I'm new to this and needs tips and motivation

Hey everyone I'm new to this app, I am looking for tips on weight loss as well as the motivation to do it!!! I have no willpower and I love food lol.. feel free to add me :)

    Tips on weight loss: it really is as simple as burn more calories than you consume. You can find an enjoyable activity like jogging, insanity, spinning, walking, etc and also assess your diet. I switch to a vegetarian diet and ate boatloads of broccoli and kale! You almost can not binge on broccoli. I did once and the consequences were enough to stop me from ever doing it again. You don't have to be vegetarian though, but a balanced and healthy diet really helps. Buy a food scale too. As for motivation, it comes and goes- research it. You don't need motivation; you need commitment. Discipline determines destiny, not desire. One phrase I repeatedly meditate upon is "I am responsible, I create myself."

    Food scale for sure! Find a workout you love, I love killer abs with jIllian Michaels, eat more real food, fruits veggies, meat, potatoes and less processed stuff. I've found eating slow and drinking lots of water also help a ton! Don't let bad days get u down, tomorrow is always a new day to get back on track!

    What's your motivation? Fitting into a particular pair of pants? Keep those handy and try them on every time you feel like giving up. looking slimmer? Take a picture of yourself at your current weight. As you lose, look at it when you feel like giving up....It'll show you how far you've come and where you don't want to go back to.
