If so, what are your thoughts? A friend of mine actually is taking the natural supplements (not injections) and started taking it for the anti-aging benefits and as an extra bonus has lost fat, gained more lean muscle and had gained elasticity in her skin reducing the appearance of cellulite.

I was just wondering if anyone on here has taken something similar and if they have had success with it.

Curious, what is it that your friend is taking? There are two that I am currently taking, PowerFull from USP Labs for Preworkout and Somatomax from Hi-Tech. The Somatomax is also a sleep aid. There is no data I can point to to say it releases GH but I do know that there is a lot of study's done of some of the ingredients on the Somatomax that point to increasing GH. Overall I do feel really good while on them and seem to recover well. I do Kettlebells 4 times a week and run once a week along with Karate and kickboxing. That is a lot at 41 but I'm not dragging during the day. Hope this helps.

I believe the supplement that she is taking is GenF20 Plus.

If you're not injecting it, you're not getting any HGH gains. Anything that claims to be an HGH release pill is not going to do a lot. Your liver will make sure of that by metabolizing whatever you take. Plus, most of these pills are just some form of arginine, lysine and ornithine. They are just amino acids. You can buy them online for cheap prices if you really want to take them. Regardless, if you want any sort of HGH boost, you have to bypass the liver and taking a pill will not do that.
