FitBit no longer syncing with MFP

So I have my FitBit connected to MFP and it has been syncing perfectly and adjusting my calories and then late Friday night my FitBit's battery died unexpectedly and ever since I've been having problems getting it to sync and adjust with MFP. On Saturday I logged 6002 FitBit steps and it reflects 65 on MFP, Sunday I got 3723 and MFP has 0 - which is causing all my calorie goals to be negative.
I tried going onto the MFP desktop and disconnecting my FitBit, waiting the recommend 15 minutes and then connecting and force syncing it and nothing. I have force synced both my FitBit and MFP separately and before and after disconnecting it and nothing. Very frustrating as I use it to keep myself accountable on calorie goals with the FitBit steps adjusting along the way. Not sure if this is related, but when I double tap my FitBit Flex to check my steps, it just shows two blinking dots going back and forth.
Help!

This has happened to me in the past and usually it's just a short application issue that fixes itself within a day or two. I too have disconnected and reconnected and have send scathing messages to the MFP Tech Support people. Try re-setting your Fitbit... not sure which kind you have, I have the Charge HR. All you do is plug it into the charger and hold the side button for four or five seconds. It will vibrate and show a bunch of lights. Let the button go and it should come back on. It will be reset but it won't lose any of your information. Also, if you are using an iPhone you might have to do an update... check to see if there are any updates available. Also, try powering off your phone and restarting (if you're using a phone for your Fitbit)

I updated my iPhone the Wednesday/Thursday before all this happened, maybe that triggered something. I'll try resetting my FitBit tonight and then watch and wait, Thanks!!

Yes, anytime I've done an iPhone update something like this happens. I am sure once you reset your fitbit you'll be find. But I know how frustrating it can be! Let me know what happens...

I don't remember what I actually did but I had this problem and googled it - you have to unlink the two devices both on MFP and on Fitbit and then link them back.

So I unlinked, relinked and then uninstalled and reinstalled both apps - havent had a chance to restart my FitBit yet, but I'm in patient lol so I've done the above and the steps are showing up on my app again but are still under calorie wise. MFP says 4136 steps = 211 cals and FitBit says 4136 steps = 1430 cals, v v v frustrating. I'll keep you posted.

That'd because Fitbit is telling you your calorie burn so far on that day, i.e. It includes your calories burnt at rest / just existing as well as the additional ones earnt from your steps. 211 for 4136 could be right although for me it would only be 30 or so but maybe that's due to weight/sex etc or the activity levels you have set?

I've had this problem with my HR monitor. Once you log onto the full website for MFP, what has worked for me is to actually log out of the MFP app on my phone and then log back in. Hope this helps.

MFP normally shows the exact same calories as FitBit, the other day FitBit gave me 3000+ cals for my steps and MFP only gave me 0 so something is off and I havent had a chance to restart my FitBit yet to see if this fixes it.

I have logged out and back in, deleted the app and reinstalled it, unconnected FitBit from MFP on the desktop, waited 15mins and connected it again - next step is charging the FitBit and restarting it and if that doesnt fix anything them I will reach out to MFP directly and update you all accordingly.
