Tracking/Food Diary. Makes you accountable, I stopped doing it and gained almost all the weight I had lost. Trying this all over again and hopefully will loose the stubborn weight. 2017 is a new year of new beginnings, and we are here to encourage.

Be kind to yourself within the boundaries of the plan you set on MFP.

Work out your weakness and work on fixing that first.

My main weakness is portion size (I eat good food - just more than I need  ) - for other people the problem might be too much sweet stuff.

I lost weight here one time before, and did it very slowly at about 1 lb every 2 weeks. That's what I plan this time too. I've done it before. I can do it again.

I forgive myself the gain - I needed to take a difficult drug for a year. Now I'm off it, and my weight has stabilised, and now it's time to lose what I gained over that period of comfort eating.

So advice for both me and you:
    -Trust that MFP will work.
-Keep honest in recording everything you eat. Even if you go "over" your target a bit that's okay - forgive yourself but keep recording everything you eat.

    Onwards and downwards!
