New to cutting.

I've been lifting heavy things for a few years now. My weights are getting to around where I wanted them but as a side effect of not caring what I ate my body is not as aesthetic as I would like. My calorie goal to losing weight is 3000c a day. I'm hoping some people that know about dropping weight could recommend some meals. If you want to add me go ahead. Any additional motivation to lose this weight is appreciated

Eat what you eat to maintain, just a bit less. Cutting doesn't require any special meals0

I feel ya man I'm working on getting back into shape. I'm 257 now started at 295 looking to cut down to 225. May go further into lower 200 but one goal at a time. I have just stuck with prepping the same lunch on Sunday that's 5 to 6 ounces of chicken or turkey Brown rice and a veggie. Dinner consists of something different everyday but I try to keep it high protein. I also drink 2 protein shakes a day I don't work out and 3 on the days I do breakfast is always bacon eggs and toast except weekends I cheat a little but nothing to crazy. It is working so far it comes out to 2000 to 2300 calories a day.0

What do you like to eat? Start by logging your calories. That's the first step. You can mess around with your "way of eating" if you find you need more energy, more protein, etc.1
