Hie guys!
Its been a week and Iam totally clueless about how to start the journey. Iam just maintaining log of food. Please HELP.
Really need some support here.

    If you put your information in to MFP it will work out your calorie intake. Just follow that and you should lose. As they say though weight loss is not linear and there are many factors that can effect it. But just keep at it and it will work. I'm sure someone will come on shortly and be far more helpful than me! I've been at it 65 days and lost 10 pounds

    If I am being very hopeful then to loose 15 kgs ideally. And maintain that weight.

    Welcome!

    To get started enter your info/stats into MFP and it will give you the calorie number you need to eat, in order to lose weight (it already has the necessary deficit built in). Then focus on accurately logging your food (and any drinks that have calories), and then work on being accurate in your portion sizes (a food scale is a great help with this). Since you don't have that much to lose (if I did the conversion right-around 30lbs?), then I'd set your weekly goal to a 1lb loss and then adjust this down to .5lb a week once you've lost around 20lbs.

    Thank you. Yes my long term goal is to weigh around 56 kgs but I keep short term goals to keep myself motivated.
