Afternoon Delight

So a friend (who shall remain nameless) inquired the other day, how many calories 20 minutes of 'afternoon delight' might burn off. Here is what my research into the exercise database revealed for options...

Hmm, let’s see, you could count it as aerobics (high or low impact), calisthenics (vigorous or moderate effort), perhaps circuit training if you like to switch things up a lot, ballroom dancing if you got swept off your feet, general dancing if you did it with rhythm, handball (team or general for a solo event), horseback riding might work of course, pilates or yoga if it was very bendy, push-ups (probably more for him if he’s logging), swimming (breaststroke, backstroke or butterfly would be my faves, and I don’t know what it is, but I kind of like the sound of Slimnastics! Any way you cut it, I hope it got your heart racing! ;0)

For me that would be a cigarette and a drink.

They have it as Sex - Foreplay and Sex - Intercourse
  • So how does one log it? Seperately? One minute of salad and two minutes of main course...?
  • If he/she really wants to know, put on the HRM lol

It's kind of tacky but if you have a HR monitor, wear it and see. What you burn depends on what position YOU are in and how much work you are doing. There are too many variables..
  • ::sigh:: well that's one exercise I won't be participating in for a while.

I feel like someone could come up with a creative option for this that includes burning calories.
