Adding friends

Hi, I'm Chassidy! I'm on a weight loss journey to lose 40lbs, and a lifestyle change. I recently gained 20 extra pounds that I didn't need when I was experiencing medical issues. I'm trying to get back to being healthy and eating right. My biggest problem is finding time to exercise and my addiction to chocolate. I can pass up food anytime, but I worship the Chocolate Gods. I lost 40lbs about 4 years ago and kept it off for about 2 years with my obsession for running and kickboxing. Then I got shin splints and everything went to hell in a designer handbag. I've tried everything from juicing, smoothies, diet pills, you name it, but I know this has to be a lifestyle change and somehow I have to get my butt in gear and keep it moving. Getting in exercise is my biggest challenge. I would like to add friends to my support system to get me back on track. I am currently trying the Atkins diet. I lost 15lbs on it before and then gained it back, plus its little brother. Any support would be welcomed!

I'm doing the Keto diet which is similar to Atkins. I do low carb high fat. I've lost 5.4 pounds on two weeks with very little exercise. I want to loose 15 lbs more then maintain. Good luck.

We can do this journey together! If you must have chocolate, go for dark chocolate..70% cocoa. Everything in moderation is ok. Just remember to keep your goal of a healthy lifestyle change as your focus. I lost 40 pounds when going thru a divorce, but gained some of it back. I'm making small lifestyle changes since my daughter has been in culinary school. Whatever she learns, she teaches me and our eating adjust accordingly. Once you learn what actually goes into your food, it becomes easier to adjust. I'm looking for friends/ strong support system as well. Feel free to add me and anyone who reads this post. The more we support each other and held accountable, the more successful we will be in our journey!
