I've been dieting for 6 days and lost 5kg (11lbs) already! Delighted with my progress. If you're a heavily overweight man or woman like me please join me in our journey to finally lose the weight. Alternatively, if you're a weight loss expert and you want to help me or us with sucessful weight loss tips, please post here with me.

I'm eating flaxseed and hempseed to add vitamins and fiber and unsaturated fat to my diet and eating low carb cereal most meals.

Most meals are between 500 to 800 calories. My goal is 69kg. I currently weigh 122kg. This is going to take me around 1 year to do if I go by the 1kg a week weight loss plan that the calorie counter algorithm creates.

What way can I speed this up? Is it low fat dieting or low carb dieting I should go for? I have about 1800 calories a day I can eat. Will my high fat, low carb diet plan I have created myself get me to my goal weight within the year or will it take me longer?
