Sharp pain in temple when exerting myself

Does this happen to anybody when I am pushing myself hard at the gym I notice as soon as I start to exert myself I get a sharp shooting pain in my left temple does this happen to anybody else I am not prone to headaches or migraines

Yes--I am a brain aneurysm survivor.
I agree that if it is an ongoing issue, you should at least mention it to your PCP.
You are probably fine, but the worst-case scenarios (AVM, aneurysm) are very bad indeed. Finding a problem in time can quite literally save your life.1
