Ar you using a food scale to weigh and measure out portions?

What are your stats? Are you using what MFP sets you at or using a TDEE calculator? How long have you been "trying"? Do you weigh all your foods especially with a digital scale? When did you start your workout and what kind?

You need to eat at a calorie deficit to lose weight. Sounds like you're just winging it and hoping to lose weight on a prayer. Enter your info into MFP. Get a calorie goal. Log your food and eat the amount MFP told you to eat.

Buy yourself a food scale, look at the portion sizes on boxes/packaging (they're always in some sort of unit - gram, ounce, etc), and weigh them out. Even measuring is not as accurate as weighing, but I'll take that if you don't want/can't afford a scale. If you're not sure of the portion size, you can look it up either in the food log entries (though sometimes not accurate), or on places like the FDA website for things like fruits and meats.
The reason why we always suggest that is that more than likely people are over estimating how much they're eating because they're simply not keeping track accurately.

How long have you been seeing no weight loss? A week? That's not long, as frustrating as it is (and I know it IS frustrating when you've put in work). How much do you have to lose, and how much is your MFP set for you to lose a week?
Your weight loss is not linear, it never will be. Your weight can flux too much due to random things, water retention, hormones, stress, lack of sleep, etc. Your better judge than the scale is to take body measurements, as that will show you the change even when your scale may be holding out on you.

You put it on the scale and see if it says 1 ounces, 2 ounces, or another weight entirely.

The scale tells you what the weight is.

No, you're not dumb you just haven't done it before. Most scales are pretty straight forward, you put your (empty) plate on it, turn it on so it starts at 0, and there's usually a button or something to switch between the different units of measure (oz, grams, pds, etc). You can switch which unit of measure before or after you put your food on the plate (in case you forget to switch it, like I've done so often  ).
Then there's a tare button that if you want to add something different (say veggies), you hit that button so the scale goes back to 0, and then add whatever you want next.

If I have a lot of different things (like a salad), I'll usually grab a note card to keep track of everything.

Look at all the pinned posts, it's a lot of information on the different sections of the forums but it's tried and true info.

This might help if you're new to reading the labels on food. You'll need to understand the labels and serving sizes to accurately weigh and log your food:
    http://kidshealth.org/en/parents/food-labels.html
    http://www.fda.gov/ForConsumers/ConsumerUpdates/ucm387114.htm
You can ignore the % Daily Value - it is based on a person who eats 2,000 calories a day, and you're trying to eat 1330.

How long since you started? How often do you weigh? What was starting weight? What is current weight? How often do you work out? What does your workout consist of? Info like this would help people make better sense of your frustration. Thx.
