1. I have become good friends with someone I met on MFP.
2. I started running in December and she challenged me to run a 10K race with her in under 60 minutes in mid-April. In France. I live in California. I have never run that far.
3. I just bought a ticket for a flight to France in April.
Hey man, all of that is pretty exciting and cool!1 -

Haha reminds me of that time when I parallel parked in to a tiny spot nonchalantly in this crowded street while visiting the upstate, and bunch of people came out to cheer me on that.
Nice work! Reminds me of the time I nonchalantly pulled off this sweet park job in a wide open lot.
I wish I was kidding.

Lol, it's an abomination. So embarrassing. But thanks for the vote of confidence. Today, parking lots; tomorrow... world domination0 -

good lord, there's a reason kids typically leave the house at 17 or 18

You sir are correct. My oldest went to the army and not a day too soon. Even early enlisted. Love him dearly but thank God he's out on his own. You raise them to be independent and then try not to kill em till they can be independent.0 -

We're a USMC family so I asked my 19 year old son if he was interested in joining the Marines.
His reply: I don't want to get killed; I'm going to college
..... difficult to argue with that logic

Way to overlook my skillzzzz and go right to the trees! -____-
But yeah, that's just a couple sprinkled in the parking lot; there's nothing like the Catskill Mountains in the fall! But I like your trees too. They're artsy, solitary, moody, trees; they have character.
