Cereal for a snack

I usually have a small bowl of cereal before going to bed as a snack. I usually choose something low in sugar, like cheerios or something else of that nature. Is that healthy to have?

I do this all the time. Why do you think it wouldn't be healthy?

That's a healthy choice. I usually have cereal for breakfast, but there's no food that must be associated with a specific time of day.

It's cereal. I don't know. Is it healthy to you? Did you meet your protein and fat goal for the day? For me, I'd have trouble meeting my other macro nutrient goals in a deficit. Still...I'd probably do it if it filled me up...but it doesn't.

So basically I'm rambling. Eat the dang cereal.

I usually have Cocoa Krispies (if I have my stash from the US) otherwise it's chocolate Lucky Charms. But Cheerios is good too if you like it and it fits in your cals

Why wouldn't it be healthy? As long as it doesn't put you over your calorie goal. :) I usually finish off my night with a cup of tea and a couple pieces of dark chocolate. I get a sweet tooth and hate going to bed hungry.

I love cereal pre workout. Fast, easy, delicious, and doesn't bog me down. Currently have Frosted Flakes and Cinnamon Toast Crunch on hand.

I'm a bit of a cerealholic. I have it for breakfast usually 4 or 5 days a week and never just one kind. Usually 3 or 4 kinds mixed together with some berries or fruit. I used to snack on it almost every night too but once I started counting calories I had a harder time fitting it in. Now that I'm on maintenance I sometimes use it to top myself up for the day B)

I love cereal as a snack but then I'm trying to gain,so fitting it into my calories is less of an issue.
Current favourite is oatibix (oat based version of weetabix) - it's pretty much sugar free but I sprinkle sugar on it. I hate going to bed hungry!
