Eating back workout calories

Hey guys, my workout calories is 1,420 and usually within a workout I burn 400-600 calories! Should I be eating 50% of these back so I'm not just eating 1,000 calories a day because I don't think that is good

Most people across the forums advocate eating back about 50% (the reason for this being that calories burned numbers from MFP/devices can be inaccurate). Unless you are very frail, very short or have some sort of medical condition you probably want to be eating over 1200 calories net as a minimum to maintain your health.
I personally work on the basis of 50-75% but if I am still hungry after that I will eat more.
Once you've logged for a month or more your food and your weight you should be able to see whether eating 50% is right for you from your results.1 -
i use TDEE method, - i have a set number of calories per day, and i work out 3 times at least per week, i do not eat any back as the TDEE methods incorporates exercise into my daily limit1

Eating back exercise calories has always worked for me. I'm only short so I have very few calories if I don't exercise to get more calories.1

Your calorie deficit should be no more than 1000 calories per day. If your workout is causing it to be more than that then you should eat at least enough to bring it back to 1000 calories per day.0
