Weight loss help!!

Hi guys, so i have been eating clean since the new years i was 272 but before i could start tracking my weight i had oddly lost a pound and it was 271, as of the other day i weighed myself it was 258 but everytime i get on the scale my weight seems to not want to get out of the 50/60 range like its starting to go slow and slower. I exercise daily and eat clean. Im also very young im 18 about to turn 19 in a couple weeks, and im 5'5. My firsy goal set is to lose 70 pounds in 7 or 8 months but im just steady losing motivation everyday cause i dont see progress in my body. I know weight loss isnt a fast thing it takes time but it just really irritates me how the scale keeps jumping to 254 to 258 and back and forth.

You need to keep a consistent calorie deficit to lose weight. Are you keeping track of your intake (food&drink)? If so, how many calories are you taking in per day? You don't have to eat clean (whatever that means), but you need to eat less than you burn. Don't let weight fluctuations annoy you, weight fluctuates.1

Just eating clean alone will not do it. Obviously, though, it did work for the 15 or so pounds. There was definitely a calorie reduction when you got off junk and started clean eating. But now you might be eating too much. You need to start actively logging everything you eat with the amounts. The types of food you eat aren't magical for weight loss--it is all the portion sizes.1

Weight will fluctuate and will seem like you're gaining weight or not losing at all.
Another thing that 2 doctors told me was that it's possible to need less calories as you lose weight. I'll be honest, I don't know if it's true, but it's better to keep a consistent calorie deficit while trying to lose weight.0 -
Give it time. Remember, you're working out and eating healthy so you can be fit for the rest of your life. Just put in the work and progress will come.
Be sure to accurately measure and track your food intake and do your best to hit your nutritional goals for the day.
Also, what are you doing for working out? Be sure to do something that challenges you at your fitness ability. If it's as simple as going for a walk a few times/week, then start with that and ramp up the intensity over time.

Yes, that's true. The number of calories I can eat to maintain or lose at 135 lbs is significantly lower than the calories I was able to eat at 170 lbs and lose or maintain. For example, unless I up my exercise, I can no longer eat 1800-1900 calories and still lose weight, but I was able to eat that many calories at 170 lbs and lose weight with very little or no exercise. If you think about it, it makes sense. There is less of you to keep alive as you lose weight (so to speak) so less calories are required to do that.
