General Question: Strength Training tracking

So I see that this application does not take into consideration your strength training into your daily exercise. Am I correct? If that is the case how do we know if we are consuming enough to meet what we are training for? Are there better apps that take into consideration strength training?

Add your exercise into the app manually under Cardio and get a conservative estimate based on your height and weight from another website.1

You cannot measure calories burned during strength training by any common means--it's difficult to do even in a laboratory. Most people either a) don't count it and use it as "extra" to make up for inaccuracies in food logging or as a "bonus" or b) pick a set number of calories burned for each workout (e.g. 100-200) and use trial and error over time to see if that is too much or too little).3

Azdak so should I estimate and extra 200kcal per day possibly? I find my self still in a deficit but I would think I would be even more so if I was strength training on top of cardio in the same day.0

Go into the cardio section - search "strength training" - log your time - realize the number is probably inaccurate because strength training calories are harder to calculate than cardio-based exercises.1

Don't add anything. Stick with your current plan and weigh yourself weekly to determine your progress. You can't accurately log calories burned during strength training.1
