Stuck at 5 pound weight loss on 17 day diet

I am on day 9 of the 17 Day Diet. In days 1-5 I lost 5 pounds, but day 6-9 I have not lost anything additional. I have been following diet very strictly except for the hot water in the morning.... Any one have any advice?

well... sounds like your diet might be sticking you into starvation mode. Five pounds in just over a week is actually a lot of loss (probably all in water weight). You might want to consider if this is a long term lifestyle change you are making or a crash diet. Any diet that demands that you can't have hot water sounds a little suspicious to me. But, enough preaching: you might have to play the calorie to fitness ratio game.0

I don't know anything about the 17 day diet in particular, but if you open up your food and exercise diary to us, we might be able to give more specific advice. In my experience, the weight loss comes in spurts, and is not at all consistent. IT is common to lose a lot on the first couple of days, then start to even out. THere are also other factors like sodium intake, which may add more weight temporarily as retained water, but doesn't actually add any fat. This will go away with a few days of eating less salt.0
