    I am so glad I don't have to stress over Valentine's Day this year! :happy: I've been happily single for a little over a year now, and I've joined a wonderful church that has a singles ministry! :bigsmile: We're all getting together for a Valentine's dinner and a movie that Saturday night! :drinker: It will be a lot of fun! We do something every month as a group!!! :flowerforyou:

    We will be celebrating my first son's 5th birthday. Five years ago my husband and I were blessed with the GREATEST Valentine's gift ever...our first baby:heart::heart: :heart:

    I'm going out of town for a long weekend with hubby. I am so looking forward to it. We haven't had good solid alone time in a while with no interuption.

    I had the Victoria's Secret book out but since I hit a plateau, I don't think I'm gonna get anything this time around. 10 pounds is not enough to put me in a comfort zone.

    spending time with my hubby and kids more than likely. My son Jacob will be 19 months old on Valentines day. We will probably go out to eat or something, not sure yet.

    Me toooooo--this is the first Valentine's in 6 years that I've not planned anything with a spouse! When I was married, it was like another day! Now that I'm single, it's fun to plan events! :drinker:

    Our custom, since the kids were born 13 years ago :heart: , is to have a candle lit dinner with the kids :smile: . My hubby barbecues and I make the dessert. BC (Before children), we usually went out to dinner.

    This year I will probably spend it in bed just vegging out because it will be just a few days after my surgery...so very low key...however, for my ex husband and I's first Valentine's Day together, we set a $10 limit and made homemade gifts for each other...it was sweet...I went to a craft store and got a little frame making kit and put a picture of the two of us in it, and he got me a wooden heart that he stained and used a wood burning kit to put our names on. It was cute, and if we had been together the following Valentine's Day :ohwell: , we probably would have continued the tradition.

    I believe its one of those days that is kind of a given for romance lol.. that is just me I guess. It's the only day I will probably get away with being mushy and expecting my bf to be as well.

    I'm different then 99% of most women. Romance for me is when he checks the oil in my car, or picks up dinner on the way home.

    I've been traveling for the last month. Valentine's this year will be the longest of my life as I fly with the time zones in my favor from the Philippines to the US.
