Smart scale accuracy

Today I bought a Yunmai smart scale to use to keep track of my body fat percentage. Does anyone have experience with the accuracy of these scales, or smart scales in general? In December I had my body fat percentage calculated and it said 18.8%. My scale is saying 31.2%. This is obviously drastically different. I have gained a little weight since then, maybe 4 pounds, but now I don't know which one is accurate.
I am 5'5 138-140lbs. I am active (rock climbing 3 days a week, personal trainer 1 day a week for an hour, and working out at home doing chin ups, hang board, and push ups).
If I am truly at over 30% body fat I am so disappointed in myself.
Thanks in advance.

No way you are over 30% body fat at your height and weight. Those scales suck and are very inaccurate. To track progress in getting leaner, I would simply pay attention to body measurements. If they are getting smaller, then you're on the right track. You can also put your measurements into a calculator to estimate your bf% or do a skin-fold pinch test (most accurate).0

I have a smart scale and I can set in the profile if I am athletic (which I haven't so I don't know exactly the effect this would have), but perhaps you can change a setting to provide a little more accuracy? I also think it's wise to take those measurements with a grain of salt, I use that measurement more to know I'm headed in the right direction with losing, but its not an exact science by any means.0
