Was a place to show support for one another during the time we are turning into a better us. I heard of this post that was saying derogatory things about fellow MFP people, including me. Have you not ever heard the saying "if you have nothing nice to say, you shouldn't say anything at all"? I have not posted much on here, giving you no reason to talk to about me. If you have something to say about me, message me and we can have a conversation, instead of posting things in message boards.....

a curse of the boards. There are people of ALL mentalities on here. Some days I just dont bother with the message boards because of the negativity, and actually stay off posts where people who have attacked me in the past post on (ill send a private message or not bother at all)0

Just sounds like a little "keyboard warrior", you will always get people like that on a public forum unfortunately. I'd delete and forget, not worth the bother, so many amazing people on here, forget the haters and join the winners!!

Agreed, its just irritates me that i didn't even get a chance to defend myself nor even see what they said about me.... I was messaged by someone telling me about the post....0 -

I like to read some of the posts, but if I'm not in the mindset to just roll my eyes at the negativity, I just stop reading at the first hint of it. It's exhausting and definitely not worth getting flustered over!0

Ok, my post was deleted. Had a good message with some humor. I forgot humor is pretty squashed around here, unless it's another creative, orginal joke like "I lost weight and it found me!"
The gist was people get off on making other people feel terrible. They are just miserable people and no matter what you say, they will be miserable.0 -

I could be mistaken, but it seems to me that if there was a post that singled out members and was derogatory, that should be reported to the moderators. That's pretty much the rule on every single forum I've ever come across, even debate boards.0 -

Gross? Yes, but the message was clear and, nevertheless, you laughed. I've had people be d*cks to me for no reason too. It's just the nature of some people. It makes them feel better about themselves for whatever reason.0 -
