Counting fibre as a macro

Hi ive recently started using mfp properly and also counting macros. On the odd occasion my macros and calories dont add up due to an error with mfp, but more recently i have found a correlation between going over on fibre and a little bit sugar adds to my macros so they are way off
Can anyone shed some light on this please? I not sure if its something to do with some companies counting certain fibres as carbs maybe?
Thanks!

Fibre is sometimes included in the total carbs, other times its not (Australian food labels show fibre separate.... It's annoying. Sometimes it's left off altogether) . It's probably entries entered incorrectly, disregarding the fibre in carb totals.

I subtract fiber from carbs to count net carbs. I wish mfp allowed macros with net carbs.
