this is a cool site. My buddy Jules and I are helping each other. Anyway, I have lost weight before and can again. I lost 40 lbs a few years ago and have gained back 15 of it. I just want to get healthy all around. this summer I had a couple of surgeries and some radiation for breast cancer. I am now totally cancer free (because of Christ!). I want to be around a LONG time for my 2 boys (Nick 17 & Heath 9) and for my husband Tony.

    Congrats on being cancer free - isn't Christ wonderful - !!!

    Welcome - I am new here too - just joined yesterday - my step daughter told me about it - and got
    thru yesterday very well - I think this will be a good tool to see where I need to improve...
    Looking for lots of support and motivation - I just lost my job due to the economy (was a steel buyer)
    so I really don't want to gain weight - and want to lose so I will have more self confidence to look for
    another job.....

    I love this site. I always try to do things by myself. It's great to have support right at your fingertips. Sorry to hear about your job. I hope you can find something else.

    Hello and welcome to MFP. You will love it here if you don't already. Everyone is so supporitve and this site is so motivational and helpful. I absoultly love it here. It has helped me so much. Anyways, I just wanted to tell you good luck on your weight loss journey. You can do this.
