Hi everyone, so this is my first time posting in a long time. I started my MFP journey almost 7 months ago "not quite sure" i was a bit overwight but not morbidly obese. I was 85 kg (Height 174 cm).. I was able to lose 20 kg. I now range in 65-68 kg.. (weight today 65 kg) anyway... Until yesterday i was still on plan to lose another 2 kg. But now i feel like.........., i've looked at myself in the mirror and realized for the first time that i lost the weight from the wrong places "nothing i can do about that, i can't spot reduce" but i was initially planning to lose weight because i felt awful looking at my hips/thigh area... I am pear shaped.. So i didn't have much of a problem in my upper body.... Now i don't feel like i reached my goal. I've lost so much weight from my upper body.. My breast size wasn't huge but now ut looks awfully saggy looking.. And didn't lose that much weight from my leg and i am still stuck with awful huge thighs... I am very sorry if this is TMI.. And if it is so much dramatic. But i don't know what to do.. I don't want to lose weight anymore cause obviously i will not lose it from my leg so what's the point. But i don't want to gain weight either cause i would feel like i did this all for nothing..

I personally lost weight at differing rates in different areas, it didn't just go off all over at the same rate. My upper hips/lower back slimmed first and then upper body and abdomen. My legs are the last things to start showing any visible change now I am within 10lbs of my chosen goal weight.1

i experienced the same thing. first i lost breast size, which i was bummed about, but eventually my waist and hips started slimming, and finally my thighs. don't lose hope... keep going!0

I'm an hourglass so a bit different but I get the waiting for the legs to go thing. I have a big bum and thighs and with 15-20lbs to go I am only now seeing a big difference with my legs, mostly the visible cellulite aspect.
When I lift my arms, my upper chest is super ribby (and looks better when I'm wearing a bra so my boob fat is hoiked up closer, heh). My boobs though are being stubborn. I know I know, a problem lots of women wished they had but honestly, I sometimes have to size up twice and end up with a huge waist just to fit them in (also applies to my backside).
Lots of people lose the most stubborn spots last and all of a sudden the last 5-10lbs make a sudden and huge difference. You could just see what happens and if you don't like the result gain a little back. Are you also strength training? That can help to a degree too.0 -
I find thick thighs very attractive. Not helpful but just saying maybe stop hating on your body a little. Cant really spot reduce so you kind of have to learn to love it atleast to some degree. Continue to lose if you wish but nothing is wrong with pear shapes. Grass is always greener...0

I do some strength training. I do because i enjoy it. But i don't know if it actually helped me. I guess i am too hard on myself so i don't notice minor changes that easily. I wasn't convinced i lost weight until i was over 15 kg down.. Everyone kept telling me you've lost weight and i honestly didn't see it.0 -
