Does anyone know if the premium version will allow you to track oxalates? I have had kidney stones and need to track them.

Interesting. I doubt it because it's not something on labels. I'd pay if it did, though.

My husband would probably Pay also. He has to be on a strict Oxalate Diet.

I emailed a suggestion to include tracking Oxalates, but I'm sure one email isn't enough to get them to add

If it's not included on nutritional labels it is not possible to track it on mfp unfortunately

maybe mvp could start a thread on foods high in oxolates? my husband also has just had surgery to remove a kidney stone and is changing his diet

the links above are for an article and 2 sites that have lists of oxalates and how much.....trying to keep mine between 100-50 mgs 100 is ok 50 is better

I know this is an old thread ... but I was recently looking to see of oxalates were tracked. They are not. For anybody who needs it I did find Jill Harris's site to be extremely helpful and she has loads of free information including a list of oxalates. https://kidneystonediet.com/oxalate-list/

No oxalates are not tracked on premium. The same nutrients that are tracked are the same as on the free version.

You might want to out Cronometer as it tracks a much wider variety of nutrients than MFP.

I have a couple of kidney stones as well both kidneys and had two removed, I didn’t even realize I had to track oxalates, that would be a great feature if mfp added that.

The Cronometer app tracks oxalates and omega -3/6- fatty acids. It’s probably the better tracker, but the problem is that many foods have “no data” for these. So I find it useful for example to make sure I eat enough omega 3 fatty acids on a vegan diet, but less useful for nutrients that I would want to limit. The social experience is also underwhelming, so I use it as an occasional tracker.
