Hi I am 24 and using my Vivosmart hr. It says my average resting heart rate is 58. Is this even possible as my BMI is 33. Thanks in advance.

Yes.
You can also take your pulse first thing in the morning sitting down.
Take two readings using your cartoid artery or radial for 15 seconds, then multiply by 4 for RHR.
Then check it against your monitor.1 -
Individual resting heart rates can vary widely. So yes.0

It does vary quite a bit with the individual. My RHR is close to 80 even though I do cardio every day and am otherwise healthy. My 57 year old husband who is much less active has a RHR of 45. His doctor thinks he runs marathons in secret, LOL.0

Even when my BMI was around 40, my RHR was mid 50's.0

The more fit I am, the lower my RHR. Mine is running around 62.
