So back in July 2016 I weighed 135 pounds and stood at 5'2". I had my binge birthday weekend and gained 5 pounds but I have not been able to drop that. I recently moved to another city in September 2016 causing a weight gain of 4 pounds that I have not been able to drop now either. Now a couple of years ago I used to weigh 175 pounds my heaviest. But now I am unable to drop these pounds that I've gained. I do have a healthy eating lifestyle considering my dad had a heart attack. I don't eat bread I don't eat rice I don't eat red meat. My daily consumption of food is chicken breast and or ground turkey and I always eat spinach every day. My water consumption is in great so I try to drink green tea. Im been actively trying to lost weight since August 2016. Started working out in January 2017. I'm going to complete nutrition and have realized my percent body fat is at 41.4 and I actually gained a pound of muscle making my weight now 146 pounds. Honestly my goal isn't to gain muscle because the numbers on the scale scare me so much if they increase because I have worked so hard to drop numbers on the scale. If anyone has any suggestions on how to just drop 10 pounds I would love to hear them. After I drop these 10 pounds I tend to work on my muscle.

Eat in a calorie deficit. Set your goal on here to lose half a pound a week. Log everything with as close to 100% accuracy as possible.

You talk about eating certain foods, but don't mention a calorie deficit. Believe it or not, you can overeat vegetables, too.

You need a calorie deficit to lose weight. Set your goal on MFP to lose a pound or less a week (I'm you're height and formerly was your weight, and any more than 1 lb a week is too aggressive a deficit) and LOG, LOG, LOG. Accurate calorie counts are the key.

Count calories and be patient. You got this.

Just becuase you eliminate a certain group of foods doesn't mean you're eating less than you are burning
