    Better than sloppy seconds...

(3 pages there is a good chance someone already went for the easy joke). But they happened to have this in the cafeteria at work today and I was thinking I hadn't had one in years. Worth it!

Nope. Hated them as a kid too. I hate mushy bread and anything messy or sticky. Hated watermelon as a kid because I didn't know how to eat it without it touching me.

Yes they are amazing! But only home made. That canned stuff is made of nightmares.

    Agreed.

@PersianKitty94, are you looking to do this for the event you were discussing in another thread?

Sloppy Joes are a staple in potlucks, at least around here. They are easy to prepare in quantity and can be kept hot in a slow cooker.

ETA: And yes, make them from scratch. Honestly it's not much more difficult than using the canned stuff.

Yes. So I've decided sloppy joes, cream of brocolli soup, garlic bread, salad and cupcakes

I hope this link works! I thought about this very confused little guy when I saw this question. And no, I really dislike them.

Lemme guess, it's the boy who won't eat it because it looks like poop

So the best way to serve them is to have the guests make their own sloppy joes to keep the bread from getting soggy?

As a kid I've never had it but a few years ago I finally decided to try some (ground turkey instead of ground beef). It was pretty tasty but it's not something I pine for. Edible but it's a bit of a no for me.
