What are good nutrient levels to attempt to hit to optimize weight loss?

I feel like I do a better job following goals when there is a good path ahead of me telling me what to do. What are good nutrient goals for a 5-8 male 180 lbs looking to lose weight? Right now I dropped my sugar goal down from the default by like 10-30 grams or something like that. Any other tips?

The only thing that matters for weight loss is that your hitting the correct calorie deficit for your weight loss goals. So that should be your number one focus.1

Calorie deficit... ensure you're getting enough fat and protein.3

Hit your calorie targets...in the mean time you can tweak your nutrition...but hitting your calorie targets are going to be numero uno.2

Consider looking at your macros (carb/fat/protein). Many here use IIFYM (If it fits your macros)0
