Hi there. My go-to for breakfast is egg whites. I've recently discovered that making a bowl of oatmeal with savory ingredients helps me stay full and can help with adding protein to an everyday high carb (oatmeal) breakfast. Here's what I'm making right now: 1/2 c. old-fashioned oatmeal made with water, 1 whole large egg, plus three egg whites (any way you like them; I like the yolk soft, so I can stir it into the oats), 2 strips turkey bacon, cooked & crumbled, couple of dashes of hot sauce. Yum! Another great protein additive to breakfast foods: Kefir (plain). Delicious in smoothies too.1

I don't eat breakfast, and I like to fill up at lunch. A plain Fage Greek yogurt with honey, 2-egg omelet with cheese and vegetables, and a banana does the trick, for about 550 calories and 37 g protein.2

Chicken thighs (boneless skinless) with some sort of sauce (bbq, chiles, etc). I used to eat a lot of hard boiled eggs, but I got burned out. XD1

White Chicken Chili
1 Tbsp olive oil
1/2 pound Italian seasoned turkey sausage (casings removed)
1 cup chopped sweet onion
1 cup chopped yellow bell pepper
2 cloves garlic, minced
3 cups chicken broth (I use Better Than Bouillon chicken base)
1 cup green taco sauce ( I used La Victoria)
1 pound diced or shredded cooked chicken
2 (14-ounce) cans reduced-sodium white beans, drained and rinsed
2 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp dried oregano leaves
1 cup reduced-fat cream cheese or light sour cream
1/2 cup fresh chopped cilantro
Diced avocado for topping optional2 -

Try egg whites with steel cut oats. I cook the steel cut oats in the insta-pot, and they have a similar consistency to brown rice0 -
Love all the ideas!! And I love rotisserie chicken and omelettes!! Yum0
