I've been having trouble losing weight. A year ago I lost 30 lbs the healthy way and then life happened and I ate my way back to my original weight. But now it's a lot harder to lose weight. So I've been looking for a little assistance.
Do hydroxycut gummies work?
What is your experience with them?

I've never tried them, and won't try them. You don't need them. It may seem harder to lose, but you can still do it. It may take a different calorie allowance this time. Save your money for the new clothes you'll need if you stick to a calorie deficit!
ETA: I've tried other weight-loss gimmicks. One of them actually worked. But it worked because it made me too nauseated to eat! I wish I had never wasted the money on any of it.0 -
never tried them, hydroxycut use to work real good back in the late 1980s and early to mid 1990s they had a difference formula back then0

Everytime someone asks if thing like that work...if they did why are/were we all fat2

Most diet pills (or gummies or whatever) either don't work, or have negative effects on your health... or both.
Lose weight the proper way again, but this time when you are at your goal make MAINTAINING your weight your priority. Which you will have to do for pretty much the rest of your life if you don't want to have to go through this a third time... or 4th, 5th, etc.
It does get harder every time, so make this the last time you lose weight by not regaining it again next time, no matter what life throws at you.2 -
Try lifting weights instead of diet pills. Much more effective.1

I agree with his poster, the quick fix seems like it'd be awesome but it never works out or has bad side effects. Stick to a calorie deficit and lifting weights. Add in some cardio if that's your thing too, whatever workouts you like and will stick to. Most of us are in the same boat with you and we want fast easy results. Look around at some of the success stories. Great results happen with hard work and a good plan and realistic goals.0 -

This x1001 -
So you lost weight, then gained it all back. Great! That's a batch of experience you can learn from. Why did you gain it back? What will you do differently this time? What mistakes did you make that you can learn from, and what mistakes did other people make that you can avoid?
Those are the questions you should be asking just now - not "will these fake rip-off snake-oil gummy-bears make me magically lose weight?". You can do this, and you can do it without daft placebos that suck money out of your pocket.0 -
The only plus I can say for the Hydroxycut pills I used to take was that it reduced my appetite and boosted my energy levels a bit (I hate coffee/tea/energy drinks so essentially it was what perked me up in the same way as a cup of coffee or two might perk up a caffeine drinker), they won't help you with weight loss in the long run.
However I only tried them because I used to get them at a very subsidised cost from an American military base shop when I was working overseas, I would not spend the money it costs from a health food place/online for these products.
As others have recommended, cut your calories so that you're in a manageable deficit and increase your activity levels, it doesn't even need to be workouts, just spend less time sitting on your a55.
