Ok so I recently went to target and literally the range in fit was shocking. To start I am pretty much a size 6 that seems to be the consensus for fit in most stores for me. I go to target and the size 8 dress pants wouldn't go up I am confident I probably would have comfortably fit in a 12. I leave with a pair of jeans in a size 4!!! What is going on here?! This just goes to show never go by the number I guess...

Clothes size are pretty much BS. They change between different brand/stores or even within the same store. So yes never go by the numbers0

I'm the weirdo that brings a tape measure to the store so I don't have to try on six different sizes of everything to find things that fit I know what my body measurements are (I sew some of my own clothes so I have to keep track of my measurements) so I just keep a small tape measure in my purse. I started measuring clothes when I started doing more shopping at thrift stores but lately I've been pulling it out at regular stores too/ 5 I know what my body measurements are (I sew some of my own clothes so I have to keep track of my measurements) so I just keep a small tape measure in my purse. Women's clothing sizes are a joke. There is no real regulation to it. Different brands have different overall sizes, it's really frustrating.1

Every brand has their own size. Some fancy smancy brands do the model outfit at 0, and size up from that!0

Its all to boost sales of a product. Many designers do vanity sizing. They will make a size 5/ 6 pair of pants and lable it a size 3/4 designers market them to women who want to say they wear a smaller size.1

Went to this little crappy store at the mall and couldn't fit into a size 5!!! Like wow, okay?! Lol
