What I learned so far with fat loss

I started really cracking down on my nutrition in the middle of December I believe I was estimated at about 195 pounds and 15% body fat (purely based on pictures online) now I got it checked professionally 2 months later and I am around 178.8 pounds and 7% body fat. My secret wasn't in the exercise that I was doing it was just simply monitoring everything I ate down to the grams. It sounds crazy but in order for you to get the results you want you are going to have to make some sacrifices that you will soon learn to love. After I hit my protein goal for my specific weight 180+ g of protein I have around 500 calories to play with. And I am a little kid at heart so I usually eat cake with the remaining calories I have. For me as long as I stay disciplined within the calorie window that I set for myself while still reaching the protein goal daily you should see a consistent improvement in your physique and lifestyle. Plus, if you eat junk every now and then it makes it so much better when you are able to eat it.

180g of protein is a little extreme for your size, but whatever works for you.0

Good for you. I know I wouldn't be successful at this if I didn't let myself have some chocolate (sometimes everyday). Not the amount I used to eat but still some. So I appreciate your talking about having treats.0

7% is really lean. Not uncommon for extreme or pro athletes, but it takes a lot to get that lean. What was the method you used to determine your body fat?
