At 64 I think I fit in this group of you'll have me. I started this year quitting smoking. A 47 year habit and proud to say I've not smoked once since. Now it's time to work on my goals of diet and exercise.

Hi tjb1953! Congrats on your smoking cessation! That's a fantastic accomplishment! I marvel at your strength!
Regarding your goals - remember to establish short term, medium term, and long term goals. Write them down and tell them to all your friends! Commit! You can achieve them! Also, keep them reasonable and achievable! In my opinion, it's much better to shoot for losing 1 pound this week and succeeding (Yippee!) rather than to shoot for losing 3 pounds this week and failing (Discouraged)!
