Starting the Keto lifestyle...and beating out sugar addiction.

Hello, I'm looking to meet anyone that has had success losing 100+ lbs on Keto. Any tips? I feel great already. My mental clarity has improved and I feel less lethargic. I've lost about 5 lbs after 2 weeks, which is quite slow for being obese, so I just started tracking my macros. How important is tracking calories while tracking macros to be successful? I know I need to boost my water intake and track to see a better weight loss. I'm trying to focus on the way I feel as opposed to obsessing over the scale. I feel great, which makes me not feel the need to binge eat and I can actually move better. I'm going to walk more to start my exercise routine off. It might sound silly, but I feel like I'm the tin man who just got some oil....my knees and joints don't feel as tight. Running up and down the steps with my laundry seems to be easier. Could it be the increase in fat to my diet or the reduction of inflammation to those joints?

Did you find a keto group? I am starting fresh and think I might like a group to help me. I found keto for badass babes on FB which is good

I just started keto on the 15th and I'm down 7 pounds! It's all water weight though. My calorie goal is 1460 but I'm usually between 1400-1700. I do 70% fat, 25% protein & 5% carbs.

So far I am loving it. I am overweight and I love sweets, pasta, bread, you name it! I read horror stories about the keto flu but I haven't experienced anything negative yet. I'm fuller longer, no cravings, and I seem to have more energy.

Feel free to add me if you want to do this together :)

I started a Whole 30 AIP Protocol which looks very much like the Keto. Send friend requests if you would like to encourage each other. I am seeing health benefits already and I want to keep the momentum going.
