The scale isn't everything.

I have had weight issues my whole life. Up and down..a yoyo. I am sure some of ya'll here get that. This past holiday season, and a few other things, took it's toll on me. I was feeling bad about where I was. In January I decided it was time to take care of me, something I am not very good at. I started eating better, logging food in MFP regularly, working out and started some challenges. Although the number on the scale has gone down, sometimes it doesn't go down as quickly as I think it should. Generally that sabotages my efforts, because I get down about that number. I have been taking progress photos. This is the only way *I* am ever able to see the difference in my body. These 2 pics, taken a month apart, just go to show that the scale doesn't tell all. I am still working hard towards my goals. I never want to be skinny. I just want to be healthy and feel good in my own skin. I am definitely headed in the right direction this time.
