So I've tried meal replacements in the past but they stopped working I knew Herbalife would work and it has! I've lost over 15lbs since January. Wondering if there are others on the Herbalife regiment who would like to make a support group - Always looking for new friends [content edited by MFP mods]

Nope. Aside from a big no to drinking my calories vs eating. Their products are overpriced and you could easily buy higher quality elsewhere.
We're not fans of any of the MLM companies round here.13 -
Nope. I don't support any MLM scam product. Isn't this the one linked with liver damage?17

i like to eat my food.
i really like food.16 -
While they're not necessary for weight loss, I like protein powders, but I buy them from a store. I'm not a fan of MLM's.
Good luck in your efforts.8 -

I started on Herbalife and had no luck with it, I was always ravenously hungry and dizzy feeling. I was replacing only lunch, I quit that and started following a CICO diet and dropped 60lbs over a year and a half with next to no exercise until I plateaued 3/4 of the way through.10

Low in protein, low in fat, low in carbs, low in fibre, low in micronutrients... where are you getting what you need?7 -
That's great, but I've lost 17 lbs since January 1 simply following myfitnesspal. Everyone is different, but you don't need that snake oil.9

Not on nor have I ever used Herbalife BUT I love shakes. I'd rather drink a meal than eat a meal. I'm still disappointed life is not like the Jetsons! Pop a pill, meal is over! I use Slim Fast High Protein and mix with water for even lower calorie intake. 2 shakes a day. Fruit, veges, yogurt etc for snacks and one healthy meal is my way of life. Each of us has to do what works for us! Keep on keepin on!2

This was an old version of the product and is no longer the case. Have no interest in the product, but just being clear that there is no evidence I can find that it still causes liver damage.1 -

I lost 15lbs since January calorie counting on here. I would highly recommend you sticking to "real" foods, because you can't be buying Herbalife for the rest of your life. It's better to learn to be healthy without meal replacements for the long run, but it is your choice of course.8 -
Tried it, didn't work for me and far too overpriced, calorie counting on the other hand has helped me lose 30kg (67lbs)5

STOP THE REPLACEMENT stuff
I did sns last year lost 3 stone in 3 months on 650 cals a day and it wrecked my immune system I got really ill gained it back3 -
Yes it's a calorie deficit but the shakes do provide nutrients you need and it's very filling! The shakes are not expensive for a $40 container I get my breakfast and dinner for 2 weeks. It has saved me a lot of money on groceries.-1

But eating food is so much more enjoyable. For 40 bucks I can get all kinds of food that will keep full and happy.3

A few questions:
1. What do you feel is different about Herbalife (vs the other meal replacements that you've tried), meaning, what is the magic secret that Herbalife has that other replacements are missing?
2. Do you plan on being on Herbalife forever, and if not, how are you preparing/educating yourself for when you start eating real food again?7 -

No, they do not provide all the nutrients. They are not 100% or close RDI.
And $40 for 2 weeks IS expensive. I get a protein powder that contains 35g of protein for $60, and that lasts me 3 months.3
