Post Menopausal and Hashimoto's--need help!

I am post menopausal and have Hashimotos. I have gain 25lbs in the past 2 years with diet and exercise. Can anyone give me advice how you have lost weight with these issues?

I am post menopausal and I do not have a thyroid gland (cancer) so I do take synthetic thyroid hormone and my levels are good.
I lost 16 lbs from September to December. I started out very sedentary (no exercise) so I set my calorie goal for 1200 and absolutely stuck to it. After 3 weeks, I raised it up and stayed at about 1380 for quite some time. I then added some walking/slow jogging and ate about 1400 calories with the activity. It seemed to work well for me.2 -
