Can I track food in two stages?

While I'm at work, I eat. I'd like to just quickly type in what I've eaten (so I don't forget something) and then go back at night and take the time to fill in the nutritional details. Can I do this? If so, how?
Thanks!

Jot it down in the food notes at the bottom of the diary screen?

If you want to do that, use a Google Doc (or a note on your phone) to list food, and then enter into MFP later.

If you just do it in MFP, it gets faster, though. You get all the usual foods in your history and don't need to hunt for them. I often eat the same foods several days in a row.

Enter your food in the app, leaving the serving size at 1. Then go back later and correct it.

I add it the food notes and update when I have time.

I add the foods in their correct places- and then correct later, once I have accurate measurements. I often pre-log for a day, to determine what I might have for dinner without blowing my goal.

If you have labels on the food, scan them in and job done.

I log the night before so I don't have a calorie blowout

Yep. You can click each entry and modify it after the fact. I do this all the time.
