I don't usually write on here because I'm a pretty firm believer in confidence, focus, motivation and inspiration from within. As in, I won't do ANYTHING unless my own head is in the right state of mind. I was super laser-focused from March to May. Semi-focused from May to June. July has come and almost gone and while I wouldn't consider myself "off the wagon," I would say that I'm dangling by my left pinky finger from the back end of the wagon.

I don't know if it's because I reached my original goal (I reset my goal thinking it would re-motivate me - it hasn't), because it's summer time and I spend so much time outside doing chores that I feel like I don't need to work out per se or if I'm just a nut job. I'm personally leaning towards nut job.

The same things that motivated me in the spring aren't even a factor now. Does anyone else experience fluctuations in sources of motivation? I just need to sit down are re-prioritize I guess. Not really looking for "support" necessarily. Just needed to vent a little and get some input on extrinsic motivation.

Thanks, everyone. I hope you're having a great day!

I am completely in the same boat. I've been struggling for a month now to find some motivation. I'm at my goal weight but there's always more to improve upon but I am struggling to become motivated. I loved how I felt exercising regularly and I'm trying to push myself to not be lazy but it's still hard for me to get out there again, despite the beautiful weather. I'm trying to focus at improving my running speed to motivate myself at all around fitness. Otherwise, yes, I'm searching for that motivating goal.

    Good luck to you!
