A mom trying to get fit!

I keep hearing that the older you get the harder it is to lose weight because your metabolism just slows down. About 7 years ago I slowly started gaining weight. I am 5'4" and got up to 180 and I pretty much maintained that weight.
Also, I have two kiddies under two and was able to go back to my weight before pregnancy. If a time exists to get this weight off its now! I would like get down to at least 140. Help! Looking for friends, accountability buddies and people who can help motivate me!

I'm 5'4" and currently 179...working to get down! That being said, the lightest I've been as an adult is 169 and the heaviest 224...It is slow going for sure, but this is a great place to start!0
