Fitbit Calories, is this current or projected?

Based on the pic, is the 1352 what I have already burned, or what I'm predicted to burn by the time I go to sleep? I think it's what I have already burned but want to verify. Also, is my full BMR for the day being included in that number already, or just the calories burned from being alive up till the time I took the screenshot (like 2:30pm)? wfntcrkhpahw.png

I hope that makes sense

1352 would be what you've burned up to that point. You'll notice the calories burned will keep going up until midnight, and then they will reset for the next day. Fitbit uses TDEE (total daily energy expenditure) which is BMR + daily activity/exercise. Since it adds calories as the day goes on, no, your full BMR isn't really accounted for yet. Because you'll still get more calories burned even if you didn't move for the rest of the day.
    Hope that makes sense!

I don't have the same dashboard, but mine has a 'calories left' entry that is current, and pretty useful, as I know exactly how many calories I have left if I don't move the rest of the day, but it's easy to increase!

I hope this doesn't sound stupid. I just got my Fitbit today, so I'm trying to figure it out. Are those calories left factoring in the goal of losing 1 lb/week? Or as long as that number is 500 or higher, you're on track? I don't think I worded that quite right.

The calories left will take into account the goal you've entered so if you have entered a goal to lose 1pd per week it will already account for the deficit you want to achieve.
